Jamyla has written radio and podcast scripts, screenplays, newsletters and online stories. And then there’s the unpublished essays, poems, standup material and first chapters of novels that will (thankfully) never see the light of day. She is grateful for the collaborative opportunities she’s had to support the work of writers whose work should be seen, like at The Baltimore Banner, where she was co-editor for the Creatives in Residence program.
